AMELIA HUTCHINSON | BARRE INSTRUCTOR
"If you can’t fly, then run. If you can’t run, then walk. If you can’t walk, then crawl. But whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward."
Amelia was born in Auckland, New Zealand, and has been dancing since the age of four years old. She moved to Melbourne after just turning sixteen to train full time at The Australian Ballet School, obtaining a Diploma in Dance, before touring throughout Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore with PROJECTion Dance Company. With her move to London, a dream came true as she was accepted at the English National Ballet in their productions of Swan Lake and Romeo and Juliet at the Royal Albert Hall. Today, she teaches at Barrecore. She said she become hooked herself after her very first class! She loves helping clients sculpt their bodies into the lean and strong dancer’s physique by using their own body weight as resistance. Seeing the change in clients' bodies and minds is incredibly rewarding for her, and she also found the method has greatly strengthened her own dancing.
